Thank you for your interest in joining AMRS as a member, where you'll enhance your model railroading endeavors.   Here is where you'll find the particulars of AMRS membership.  Remember---members have a more expansive time frame to access the layouts then the public does, training in Digitrax and even phones for throttles, learning how to create layouts, train maintenance, opportunities to purchase train related items before the general public does, special event participant advantages, and so very much more!

Membership Dues 

• Regular Membership (18-64 years old)       $180/yr or $50/quarterly

• Senior Membership (65+ years)                   $120/yr or $35/quarterly

• Family Membership*                                     $200/yr or $55/quarterly

• Associate Business Membership                 $250/yr

Note:  There is also a one time Application Initiation Fee of $15 per member listed on the application.

Items to note:

     All new members are on a minimum 90 day probation to determine mutual suitability based upon factors like participation and respect of rules.

     After 90 days, new members applications are submitted to general membership at the monthly meeting to vote on full admission.

     Non probationary members in good standing receive special benefits including increased access to the building and website.

     Family memberships-- children may never be left at AMRS without an associated parent/guardian in attendance with them.

     Memberships may be revoked for non-payment, destruction or disregard of property, inappropriate conduct, unsafe behavior, etc.

     AMRS bylaws are available publically in the AMRS building on the bulletin board by the glass display case (and on the website for full members).

     Members nor their guests may bring alcohol or firearms onto park grounds, and smoking is in designated outdoor areas only.

     AMRS is on Maricopa County Parks Department land, and their rules take precidence and will be posted when possible
